hüzünlü şeyler

Sana Sarılınca by Cem Adrian

like a small light that breaks the darkness.
like wings that flutter in the storm.
like a butterfly that doesn't afraid of getting wet.
I loved you... I loved you..
like a ship made of paper in the ocean.
like a bud that bloomed without waiting for sprig.
like a child who loved for the first time.
I loved you. I loved you.
When I hold you I thought it will be better. will be better
When I belived you I thought it will be over. will be over.
When I am tied to you I thought I won't fall, won't fall
I am all in pieces, my heart is all over the place
When I hold you I thought it will be better. will be better
When I belived you I thought it will be over. will be over.
When I am tied to you I thought I won't fall, won't fall
I am all in pieces, my heart is all over the place

Cem Adrian - İnce Buz Üstünde Yürüyorum

Lyrics, Music, Arrangment: Cem Adrian

There is still something inside me, as if it is hope
- Hala içimde bir şey, sanki umuda benziyor.
it tells me to not forget, I am keeping silent

- Bana unutma diyor susuyorum.
There, from far away, a weakening sound  asking me to not give up

- Orda uzakta bir yerde, artık zayıflayan bir ses bana vazgeçme diyor.
I hear

- Duyuyorum.
in a dream, slowly and silent I am walking over a thin ice

there are walls in front of me, the ties on my eyes, I am passing by fire

- Önümde duvarlar, gözlerimde bağlar, alevler içinden geçiyorum.
how many times the life would hit and break

- Hayat daha kaç kere vurup, kaç kere kıracak...
how many times it would destroy, how many times it would hurl

- Kaç kere yıkıp, kaç kere savuracak...
how many times my heart would beat, how many times it would stop

- Kalbim daha kaç kere çarpıp, kaç kere duracak...
how many times it would believe, how many times it would forget

- Kaç kere inanıp, kaç kere unutacak.

Children are playing outside.
They remind me my childhood.
We wouldn’t go home and we would play till midnight in summer holidays

Ustam ve Ben, Elif Şafak

Ustam Ve Ben

The story begins with an elephant sitter guy's getting into the Ottoman Palace and being one of the apprentice of Sinan, one of the biggest architects of Ottoman Empire. Even if I got to the end hard by forcing myself to end it, reading this was more enjoyable than Efsane, which was about a time of Ottomon Empire's navy. The story gave me the taste of known fantasy point of view to the Ottomon Empire that used a lot in books or movies.

Bit Palas, Elif Şafak

Laf kalabalığı... cram of words what I thought while reading Bit Palas. An apartment building with 10 residents. The analysis of the characters which you know very well in life, the description of events, the story telling is filled with a lot of words. It is nice but at the same time boring to continue reading it. So in the middle of the book as the chapters got smaller I began to hve a hard time to keep reading after all those long parts in the beginning.
10 stereotype characters came together in an apartment building with no common thing but the awful smell of the garbage and bugs that surrounded the building.

As long as you ignore to be a part of this living concept at some points you find yourselves related with your neighbours.
